Add an extra layer of protection to your Patriot fabric face masks by adding a disposable filter in the filter pouch.  PM2.5 activated carbon filters are designed for filtering airborne pollution and will capture particulate matter up to 2.5 microns.  Please note that a PM2.5 filter is not certified in any way for virus protection specifically, but they have been shown to offer greater protection than a mask without a filter and offer several additional layers of filtration.

PM2.5 filters are more breathable than an N95 filter with approximately 75% less inhalation resistance, but do not offer the extreme level of virus protection offered by an N95 mask, so are recommended only for those not needing maximum filtration levels. 

*These filters are not recommended for high-risk individuals or for use in any kind of health care setting.

Filters will fit an adult sized mask and will also fit a smaller children's size mask by folding the filter over or by trimming down to size with a scissors.
